Week 3 on the WAPT
Week 3 and we’re in Natchez, Mississippi at the Beau Pre Country Club for the Taco Bell Natchez Classic. I tee off tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. (central daylight time) on number 10. I’m paired with my friend, fellow Oregonian and former Oregon Junior Golfer Victoria Gailey.
Victoria and I have been playing golf together for more than 15 years! I think we met when I was 10 or 11 years old and we played against each other in pretty much every Oregon Junior Golf tournament until I aged out. We both played for Team Oregon at the 2016 and 2017 Junior America’s Cup at Del Rio Country Club in Modesto and Reflections Bay in Las Vegas, respectively, and at the 2016 North Pacific Junior Ladies Match at Pitt Meadows in British Columbia.
