HELLLOOOO FLORIDA
I survived the reshuffle! I’m in Florida for the next two weeks.
Last night, I took a red eye from San Diego to Orlando and landed early this morning. I’m playing in the IOA Golf Classic presented by LPT Realty at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood.
Because of a mix up with my AirBNB, I had to scramble for last minute arrangements for lodging. Katie Ginella to the rescue! I am staying with some friends of hers in Winter Park, FL. It’s about a half an hour from the course and I am so grateful for their hospitality!
I was able to get 9 holes in this morning before I headed to Winter Park for a little sleep. Tomorrow I hope to get a full practice round. The tournament starts Friday. I don’t have my tee time yet, but check my Instagram page @ellieslamagolf for that and a link to scoring.
Following the tournament in Longwood, the next Epson event is Memorial Day weekend at El Campeon Golf Course in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida. My parents are flying out Wednesday to come watch and we’re staying together in an AirBNB. It will be the first Epson event they have been able to attend. I am excited they are able to come! My dad will take lots of pictures that I will be able to post and they might be doing hole by hole updates on Twitter like they did during the second stage of Q-School. Stay tuned for more!
