2025 Golf Season Starting Up
Here we go again! Monday, March 31, I take off for the south to start my third season of professional golf, with four tournaments in a row.
Three years in
I started this journey in August of 2022, completely unaware of what life as a professional golfer looked like. There have been so many incredible experiences, and I’ve met tons of amazing and kind people. But I’ve also had frustrating rounds and difficult days on the road. I have learned a lot these past few years competing at tournaments and working on my game in the off season. I am looking forward to using this knowledge in the 2025 season to compete on both the Annika Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT) and the EPSON Tour.
Similar to my rookie year, I have partial EPSON Tour status, which essentially means I am on the waitlist for each event…until I’m not. (See my post here for a refresher on tour status.) Currently my updated/estimated schedule for April and May looks like this:

April 3-5 WAPT Coke Dr Pepper Open (Alexandria, LA)
April 9-12 WAPT Lake Charles Championship at L’Auberge (Lake Charles, LA)
April 16-18 WAPT Taco Bell Natchez Classic (Natchez, MS)
April 21 US Women’s Open Qualifier (Hemet, CA)
May 7-9 WAPT United Way (Fort Smith, AR)
May 14-16 WAPT FCA Women’s Championship (Broken Arrow, OK)
May 28-30 Inspirato Colorado Women’s Open (Denver, CO)
I will have a better idea of future EPSON events and my schedule after mid May. That’s about the time when I started getting into EPSON events my first year, so I am hoping it will be the same this year, too.
I will be keeping up with a blog posted on here every three or four events. I always post live scoring links on my Instagram @ellieslamagolf before each tournament. I am excited to be back on the road and traveling with my friend Olivia Armstrong (formerly Benzin) for the first three events, especially because there’s a lot of driving involved!
I’m also looking forward to staying with our amazing host family in Natchez again this year. There are so many great people on this tour!
